We Did It!

Clark graduated on Sunday! He is officially done! I can't believe how quickly these two years have flown by! It's been neat to think back to two years ago, not knowing what was in store for us at Chapel Hill, not knowing where we'd be in 2 years. We've made some of the best friends, had the most fun, and our family has grown too! Clark's Mom flew into town on friday night and stayed with us through the weekend. We spent Saturday with Clark's sister and family watching Luke play soccer and shooting off rockets!

Sunday was the big day. We had a great lunch/dinner at Sara and Marc's that my parent's and bro, Cordell, came to and then headed off to the Dean Dome for the graduation ceremony. The law school was just finishing off their graduation and as the graduates walked out, they played the James Taylor song, "Carolina in My Mind"... all of a sudden I just started to bawl! Clark and I have lived here in North Carolina for 5 years. Some of our best years have been here. We have loved it so much and will really miss the east. But of course we are excited for Clark's new job and our home in California! The graduation ceremony was exciting but LOOOONG! I was just glad that Clark was walking toward the end of the group ("S") so that we could keep our attention for at least that long! :) It was a proud day. After the ceremony, we went up to Clark's school for a tasty reception. Carolina BBQ, shrimp, corn bread muffins, fruit, delicious cookies, cakes and lemon tarts! MMM!

So now we are helping all of our closest friend's move... I am so sad! I will miss them all so much! We're waiting around until I have my baby (May 23rd, or hopefully before then!) then we'll pack it up and move two weeks later!
