Treehouse!!!!

We decided Friday that this weekend was the perfect time to build the treehouse we'd wanted for a while. Friday night Dave and I went to "Lowe's" for the first out of 4 times, and by Saturday night, it was done! Who knew Dave could put this together! No planning, no drawings, no nothin'. He just did it. it looks amazing and it really sturdy!

The Exciting Things in Life

When you get old and have million kids, like me, sometimes the simple things in life are the most exciting. I just decided yesterday to really organize our garage entryway so that we had a "mudroon", take-your-shoes off area. It already had a few baskets for shoes, but it was getting out of hand. Last night we all took a trip to "Goodwill" and bought $40 worth of wire and wicker baskets. Today I bought some little yard sale tags from Wal-Mart for $2 and wa-La!! It looks great! I also learned that Lils is EXTREMELY accomodating, helpful, sweet, and altogether perfect when I allow her to stay up an hour past bedtime to help me organize. Dave was at Young Men's last night, Rose and E were in bed and that left Lils and I to sort through junk and put it all together. I know it doesn't look like much from the pictures (I didn't take any before pictures) because I took it on my camera phone! Our other camera is in the mail. So, last night Lils and I had a great time working together. She sorted through all the shoes while I cleaned up the shelves. All in all, it was a fun night, and hopefully it will stay nice and organized for at least a few days!

Halleluyer!

New Moon trailer, for those crazy people who haven't seen it yet!

Fun Hair!

I have never really french braided before. Each time I would try it would take forever and be all loose and stuff. But I saw a little girl at the pool Friday with a ribbon in her braids and thought it was the cutest ever, so I tried again. I did it and it looks pretty cool! Lily said she felt like Rapunzel.

E-bear

I was looking through my old camera phone pictures I've saved on the computer over the years- here are a few highlights of E at his best! Man, we thought he was the cutest kid ever! (a face only a mother could love! :) Do any of you "Baity Hill-ites" remember E at the playground our first year there? He would crawl around super fast with a constant snotty nose! Bark, rocks, dirt, and small animals would get stuck to his snot every single day- no matter how many times I'd wipe his face! It got to a point where I'd just let him sport the Hitler mustache the whole time at the park, then give him a good wiping before we left! Gross! Boys make you do things as a mother you never thought you would possibly do! :)
