How many kids does it take to make an awesome bday party? 16! Yes, that's how many kids we had in our hot tub at one point.... I'm sure that's against some maximum occupancy rule, but we're redneck, ok?! On saturday we invited a few friends over for a special 12 layer coconut cake. I saw it on "Bobby Flay's Throwdown" on Food Network and had to make it. It had about 7 cups of heavy cream and 2 1/2 lbs of butter in it. Yeh, it was so bad it was good! I don't mean to blag (blog-brag) but....I've never made such a pretty cake! It took me and Dave 3 days. It was about a 40 min thing each day and the last day I put it all together. It was yummy!
